Lectures and classes
- (in french) - First year at Ensta MA03 (bachelor level)
This course focuses on the finite difference method for the approximation of partial differential equations in physics (elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic). It is this last class of equations which is the subject of this course. We address linear and nonlinear problems.
- (in french) - Second year at Ensta ANN1 (master level)
This course presents the mathematical foundations, as well as the practical aspects, of the finite element method, which makes it possible in particular to solve partial differential equations (PDE) from physics, mechanics, finance, and many other areas.
- (in french) - Master 2 "Analysis, Modelling, Simulation" and 3rd year at ENSTA Paris "Modelling and Simulation" Program
This course is devoted to the introduction of homogenization of materials having a periodic microstructure. When the period of the microstructure is small relative to the size of the material (e.g. in foams, composite materials, etc.), the question is whether one can find an effective model that accounts for the macroscopic behavior of this material.
