Gmsh : Finite Elements mesh generator developped in C++ by Christophe Geuzaine and Jean-François Remacle. It can build 2D and 3D meshes until the 5th order, to msh format. This mesh generator is the one Melina users tend to use. You can also read 2 documents (french) of my own about Gmsh :

Convmesh : Mesh files converter developped in C++by Éric Lunéville and Nicolas Kielbasiewicz, it allows the conversion between msh mesh files and mel mesh files (Melina format) and allows to make some transformations such as the cracking process. |
